Intro
Sometimes inspiration doesn’t start with a melody.
Sometimes it starts with one random hi-hat.
While digging through FL Cloud, MENDADAK DJ came across Euphoria DnB, a Drum & Bass sample collection by Singomakers built around the energetic, melodic and emotional side of modern DnB.
Running around 175 BPM, the pack immediately caught our attention.
Emotional Drum & Bass
Euphoria DnB focuses on the combination that makes melodic Drum & Bass so addictive: energetic drums underneath emotional musical elements.
The collection includes sounds ranging from drums and hi-hats to piano, effects and melodic elements, making it useful for quickly sketching new Drum & Bass ideas.
According to its description, the pack draws inspiration from the modern melodic and dancefloor side of DnB associated with artists such as Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Netsky, 1991, Wilkinson, Koven and Dimension.
What Caught Our Attention
During our first browse through the pack, several elements immediately stood out.
The percussion feels clean and modern, while the melodic material has enough emotion to work for both euphoric festival-style DnB and more atmospheric productions.
At around 175 BPM, most of the material can be dropped straight into a typical Drum & Bass production workflow.
And yes — sometimes something as simple as finding the right hi-hat is enough to start an entirely new track.
